
When parents abuse drugs or alcohol, it has far-reaching impact on the growth and development of the children. Children who grow up in families where either one or both parents are regular abusers of drugs or alcohol are persistently surrounded by chaos and unpredictability. As a result, these youngsters fall prey to various emotional, physical and mental health problems, apart from serious issues like depression, anxiety and substance abuse.
